Revelation 21:4-5 AMP
4 God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; and death shall be no more, neither shall there be anguish (sorrow and mourning) nor grief nor pain any more, for the old conditions and the former order of things have passed away.
5 And He Who is seated on the throne said, See! I make all things new. Also He said, Record this, for these sayings are faithful (accurate, incorruptible, and trustworthy) and true (genuine).

Revelation 7:17 AMP
17 For the Lamb Who is in the midst of the throne will be their Shepherd, and He will guide them to the springs of the waters of life; and God will wipe away every tear from their eyes.

Jeremiah 31:3 AMP
3 The Lord appeared from of old to me [Israel], saying, Yes, I have loved you with an everlasting love; therefore with loving-kindness have I drawn you and continued My faithfulness to you.

Praise Jesus the Lamb of God who leads to the springs of life where every tear will be wiped away! May these promises bring encouragement and joy today, no matter the circumstance. May you always find rest in the arms of the One who loves with an everlasting love. Great is HIs faithfulness!

Only  the Lamb
By Karen Holland

When the tears fall remember the Lamb
Faithful and true
Only the Lamb can lead to springs of living water
Where all things are made new.

Only the Lamb leads to the springs
Springs everflowing, never fail
Springs where tears are wiped away
Precious gems, collected and saved
Turned from pain in a heart
To a blessing, a fresh new start.

Only the Lamb
Faithful and true
Can lead to where all things are made new.

Remember the Tomb

March 30, 2013

When darkness overwhelms and there appears to be no way out – Remember the tomb!

Matthew 26:5-8Do not be afraid, for I know that you seek Jesus who was crucified. He is not here; for He is risen, just as He said. Come, see the place where He was lying. Go quickly and tell His disciples that He has risen from the dead; and behold, He is going ahead of you into Galilee, there you will see Him; behold, I have told you.”

And they left the tomb quickly with fear and great joy and ran to report it to His disciples.
.

Lord when darkness overwhelms and there appears to be no way out, remind me of the Tomb. Help me to remember that the dawn of Easter comes after the Tomb. Remind me of this Easter joy when I need it most!

Thanks be to God – Jesus Christ is risen!
