Steadfast Heart

Luke 8:15 AMP
But as for that [seed] in the good soil, these are [the people] who, hearing the Word, hold it fast in a just (noble, virtuous) and worthy heart, and steadily bring forth fruit with patience.

From ODB – What Kind Of Soil Are You?

Lord, I would be soil in which You can plant
Your Word with its promise of fruit;
I want to be open to You every day,
So what You have planted takes root. —Hess

1 Corinthians 15:58 AMP
Therefore, my beloved brethren, be firm (steadfast), immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord [always being superior, excelling, doing more than enough in the service of the Lord], knowing and being continually aware that your labor in the Lord is not futile [it is never wasted or to no purpose].

Lord Jesus, help me to have a steadfast, immovable heart, to hear, plant and keep Your word with patience. Let Your word take root in my heart and bring forth much fruit honoring and  glorifying the Father. Amen.

John 15:4-5, 8 AMP
Dwell in Me, and I will dwell in you. [Live in Me, and I will live in you.] Just as no branch can bear fruit of itself without abiding in (being vitally united to) the vine, neither can you bear fruit unless you abide in Me. 5 I am the Vine; you are the branches. Whoever lives in Me and I in him bears much (abundant) fruit. However, apart from Me [cut off from vital union with Me] you can do nothing.

When you bear (produce) much fruit, My Father is honored and glorified, and you show and prove yourselves to be true followers of Mine.

Psalm 112:7 AMP
He shall not be afraid of evil tidings; his heart is firmly fixed{steadfast}, trusting (leaning on and being confident) in the Lord.

Thank You Lord Jesus that when our hearts are firmly fixed/steadfast, trusting in You – we will not be afraid! Keep our hearts fixed on You – Jesus Christ our Rock. Amen.

Isaiah 26;3 AMP
You will guard him and keep him in perfect and constant peace whose mind [both its inclination and its character] is stayed on You{steadfast}, because he commits himself to You, leans on You, and hopes confidently in You. 4 So trust in the Lord (commit yourself to Him, lean on Him, hope confidently in Him) forever; for the Lord God is an everlasting Rock [the Rock of Ages].

Thank You Lord Jesus, that when our hearts are steadfast/fixed on You, we are held close to Your heart in perfect peace. Help us to trust You – our everlasting Rock! Amen.
