The Gentle Shepherd

From Guideposts – The Gentle Shepherd

Jesus, gentle Shepherd,
Bless Thy lamb today;
Keep me in Thy footsteps,
Never let me stray.
Guard me through the daytime.
Every hour, I pray;
Keep my feet from straying
From the narrow way. Amen.

Isaiah 40:11 NIV … He tends{feeds} His flock like a shepherd: He gathers the lambs in His arms and carries them close to His heart; He gently leads those that have young.

.

Today, come to the Good Shepherd as a little lamb. Let Him gently lift you up and carry you. Rest there awhile in complete trust and safety.
Be still … held safe in His arms of love, close to His heart.
