Amos 8:11 … Not a famine of bread
Nor a thirst for water
—> a famine of hearing the word of God
What is deception? Isn’t it believing a lie because the truth is not perceived – intelligently heard?
The above verse highlights the importance of being able to hear the word of God{truth}. It’s also comforting that there is no famine of bread{truth – word of God} nor thirst for water{Spirit}.
| Lord open our ears and hearts to the word of God, help us to eat it. Praise You Lord Jesus, the bread of life(our daily bread) then there will be no famine{physical or spiritual} in our house! Help us to worship in Spirit and truth in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. Amen. |
